Mr. Smiley

I'm going to start out by saying, God is good. I have had to keep telling myself this because the last couple days have been challenging. I also keep telling myself, at least he's healthy and fine, he's just really fussy. There are random times where he will scream so loud for about 15-30 minutes and we don't know why. We don't know if it's his gas, acid reflux, overly tired, the formula, anything! We just took him to his 2 month check up and the doctor said he was perfect, so we're going to fight through it and again... God is good and at least he's healthy.

On to good things, like I said, Grayson's 2 month check up was this week and he's growing like a weed. At 12.4 lbs he's 50% for weight. At 22 inches, he's 25% for height, and he's a whopping 90% for his head size.

We have been outside so much this week, getting extremely dirty while playing in the dirt. But I frankly don't care how dirty she gets because I'm just happy we can have the plastic of the windows!

Our backyard is taking shape and we're praying for a great swing set, particularly a great slide. Nevaeh loves to climb and slide and we need to vamp up the funness in the backyard.

Not much has happened since 9 days ago, other than the great weather and that I got new running shoes and have been running and training again! So excited to get back into the shape I was in before Grayson, and so excited to run in my first 10K this summer!

Is 40:28-29  "Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might, He increases power."

There are some moments where he is Mr. Smiley! How cute are these photos?

#6 Ok this isn't really a smile, but it's cute.

 Story time before bed

Miss Messy! but she's almost perfect with her silverware.

First bath together! And of course, Nevaeh wanted to join Grayson in his bathtub.

"G" for Grayson... well, I thought it was a clever way to cover up the lower parts.

 Daddy and son. So wonderful!
