the busy season!

Well, it has been almost a month and things have gotten busy! We are in the middle of getting the house up and running for when we move in. Jason, Mike, Derrick, Dave and Sean helped us, very diligently, put up our beautiful new fence in the back yard. Now some weeding needs to be done and the back yard will look amazing!  I am painting our attic master bedroom and let me tell you, it's no easy task! It was complete paneling EVERYWHERE, a nightmare to look at. But Now with some help of such wonderful ladies, it looks like a completely different room, and I can't wait to move in.

We are redoing our kitchen and upstairs bathroom, and some major yard work is ahead of us! And I will definitely have before and after pictures!! I'm excited, God has blessed us with so much these past couple of weeks! Without Jason's job, we would not be able to make this house our home!

We have been outside a lot and I have started training for short marathons, softball has started for Jason and Nevaeh is just going with the flow. We go outside quite a bit and when its raining and we can't go outside I think, "how did we every make it through winter?" With God's grace, thats how!

I can't wait to go on our first family trip, I don't know when or to where that will be and I still haven't talked Jason into going, but I think it would be so much fun!

Well, here are some outside pictures.... have fun!

Getting ready for the park, that hat stayed on for maybe 1 minute.

Daredevil Nevaeh walked on the wobbly bridge all by herself.

she was so proud of herself!

went down the big slide by herself too!

up the ladder... you guessed it... by herself! She is soo independent!

This is the little boy I watch, Nathan, he loves to look up at you through the holes.

still.. her favorite thing is the swing

It is amazing how God created us to have women instincts! Yep, this is her purse! and she carries it around like one to!

ok- this was a scary ten minutes! I could not find Nevaeh for ten minutes! I looked EVERYWHERE; in the shower, under the bed, behind the table and nothing! I started to panic and at my last attempt to search her room I just happened to look over and there she was, laughing!!!

She absolutely loves dandelions!

she's trying to blow on it.

Funny face!

  1. Haha! Sam, your posts are hilarious. Blessings on Jason's job too! I used to be the "purse lady" in my family, holding up to 5 purses per arm!

PS What B&B did you and Jason go to for your anniversary? Gerard and I are investigating our options...
