Lets PARTAY!

My Birthday Girl!!!
Well today was the day, and it's over and my voice is gone (literally). Nevaeh's birthday party was wonderful and thank you so much to all who were able to come and celebrate with us!

Nevaeh took the crowd of people in our duplex very well and loved every minute of the attention! I hung all her decorations after she went to bed last night so she hadn't seen any of it until she got up this morning. The first thing she saw was the ceiling (picture below), pointed and ahhhhh'd. She loved all the presents and devoured the cake, as you can see above.

I thought the party was very nice and everyone had fun. There were, probably, at one point, 30 people in our small duplex at once and it never really felt like it was too crowded. I loved being able to host here and loved that everyone close to us were able to share in this wonderful moment with us!

Now, we just wait until Thursday when she really does turn one!

I made a large cupcake for her 'special' cake and this is what it looked like
before she got a hold of it.

Happy birthday my little one!

Well, it hasn't officially been a year, but close enough! I know moms always say this and it's an over-used saying, but time sure does fly!

I remember like it was yesterday brining her home and not knowing what to do with her... let her sleep in her car-seat or take her out. Now she's one and the question is when should give her the first hair cut, should we have a big party and even when do we start for more?

I love being a mom now. It wasn't daisy and roses (and still isn't, her poops stink real bad!), I had a hard time transitioning, not only from being a new wife, but then being pregnant and a new mom. I suffered from baby blues so bad that for two weeks I didn't want to hold my baby girl and that is one thing I wish I could change. I wish I could go back and hold her more than I did.

But now she's one, and I couldn't be happier with the little dare devil! She is such an independent girl, so much so that sometimes she pushes my hand away to tie her own shoes. She now knows what a cow says and even a lion, she's so much fun!

Here are lots of her first year photos, and in one week I will post up photos of her first birthday party. I haven't been taking as many pictures in just day to day activities and for that I apologize.

Put one foot in front of the other!

And soon she'll be walking across the floor. Actually she is walking out the door!!

Just right after Christmas she started really walking, and she goes and goes and goes. She kind of does this jog/walk sometimes, which is really scaring me... its too fast! She's growing up too fast!

In one month, she will be 1 year old, in just one short month. I can't believe who one year has really flown. It really is amazing that time goes so fast. Good thing there is a such thing as video and pictures!

Christmas was great, so much unwrapping of presents and new toys. Nevaeh really enjoyed herself, she actually got bored of unwrapping presents. It was really busy and tiring, but good to spend our first Christmas together.

We are looking forward to 2010, and what God brings to us this year. Nevaeh is such a blessing and our amazing baby girl. We may be moving into Jason's house in May, or we might just keep renting it out. We are excited for this next year, with whatever God bring us!

Happy new year everyone! God Bless

Christmas Eve at my Grandmas! Her first present opening.

This is our first morning Christmas as a family! I set the camera on the floor angled up, so it's not the best picture.

Uncle Zach, He's in the navy and lives in Virginia. She doesn't get to see him that much, but seems to like him!

Here are just some random fun photos. I'm going to enter Nevaeh into the Regis and Kelly beautiful baby contest so we have been taking a lot pics to decide.
