the busy season!

Well, it has been almost a month and things have gotten busy! We are in the middle of getting the house up and running for when we move in. Jason, Mike, Derrick, Dave and Sean helped us, very diligently, put up our beautiful new fence in the back yard. Now some weeding needs to be done and the back yard will look amazing!  I am painting our attic master bedroom and let me tell you, it's no easy task! It was complete paneling EVERYWHERE, a nightmare to look at. But Now with some help of such wonderful ladies, it looks like a completely different room, and I can't wait to move in.

We are redoing our kitchen and upstairs bathroom, and some major yard work is ahead of us! And I will definitely have before and after pictures!! I'm excited, God has blessed us with so much these past couple of weeks! Without Jason's job, we would not be able to make this house our home!

We have been outside a lot and I have started training for short marathons, softball has started for Jason and Nevaeh is just going with the flow. We go outside quite a bit and when its raining and we can't go outside I think, "how did we every make it through winter?" With God's grace, thats how!

I can't wait to go on our first family trip, I don't know when or to where that will be and I still haven't talked Jason into going, but I think it would be so much fun!

Well, here are some outside pictures.... have fun!

Getting ready for the park, that hat stayed on for maybe 1 minute.

Daredevil Nevaeh walked on the wobbly bridge all by herself.

she was so proud of herself!

went down the big slide by herself too!

up the ladder... you guessed it... by herself! She is soo independent!

This is the little boy I watch, Nathan, he loves to look up at you through the holes.

still.. her favorite thing is the swing

It is amazing how God created us to have women instincts! Yep, this is her purse! and she carries it around like one to!

ok- this was a scary ten minutes! I could not find Nevaeh for ten minutes! I looked EVERYWHERE; in the shower, under the bed, behind the table and nothing! I started to panic and at my last attempt to search her room I just happened to look over and there she was, laughing!!!

She absolutely loves dandelions!

she's trying to blow on it.

Funny face!

Fun randomness!

Hello everyone!

Well this has been a fun month! We have been able to go OUTSIDE! Nevaeh absolutely loves going outside and she has developed an interest in rocks. Any rock we have to keep in a special place outside. It's so cute, she has such a personality and I positively enjoy this age so much!  She melts my heart, and so many other people's as well.

It has also been a really sad month in the same breath as well. My grandma died, so we have been up in Mason city spending time with family. We will miss her, but we are glad she isn't in pain anymore!

This month I also turned 22! Jason took me out to eat and the next day (today) a friend of mine and I went to the outlet mall and I got so many cute clothes for Nevaeh cheaper than you would find anywhere at consignment shops! So wonderful! I love saving money.

This next month is going to be a busy one with us moving back into Jason's house. I'm excited to start working on the house, we're putting up fence within the next couple weeks. I'm going to be doing a lot of painting and decorating! woo hoo!

We're still praying that Jason would have a job next year, but as of right now we don't know anything yet. Next week we should find out if he has a job in the des moines public school system! So we just keep on praying and trusting in God.

She drew her first picture, well it was more like scribbles.

She was just so cute, I had to take a picture!

Grandpa Mike at Easter.

This is the first time she climbed up on the couch on her own! She can't do it all the time, but she does get up every now and then! She just randomly started to try this one time and she made it! We just sat watching her in awe at her cleverness!

We got some of her baby toys out for Danielle and she decided to play too!

She is so cute when she sleep!

Her are some really fun pictures of outside!

She is such a dare devil now. She went down the slide on her own, going backwards (feet first) on her tummy! wow!

She found the big rocks our neighbor has beside their house! She had a ball, and still does, when she first found them!

more of the rocks.

We went to her cousin's, Keelie, first softball game ever! She had fun eating popcorn and watching everyone!

We had poop.... now there's PUKE!!!!!!

Well, once upon a time we had a little girl who pooped out pudding like turds, and so she ate it. Now, right after leaving daddy's lap, and I mean seconds after, she came to me and just vomited all over me. If you look closely, its even on my chin. I was freaking out, although it doesn't look it, telling jason to get Nevaeh because she wanted to sit on my lap afterwards. But he decides to get the camera and take a picture. At the time, I admit I was quite annoyed, but now I'm glad he did.

This was her first big puke moment and of course it had to be all over her mama. I was so grossed out. My poor girl... we couldn't figure out what was wrong... we decided she must have drank too much milk at one time a little bit before.

Other than that momentous moment, we have been having a wonderful time outside. She absolutely loves it!! She enjoys examining things and bringing me things she found. We have gone to the park and thanks to g-ma val we got a wonderful wagon to go on walks with!!

She is also talking soooo much now. She says hi all the time and now says bye. She also answers a lot of questions with "yes" or "yep". Most of the time, she answers somewhat correctly and if its a no answer she doesn't say anything. She says "baby", because she absolutely adores babies and is going to be an amazing older sister! I can see it!!!!!!

I just can't believe how wonderful she is and what a blast we do have. Yes, we do have our moments and I get impatient and mad, but for the most part, I love being with her! She is like my best friend (kinda), and I love her soo much!

the puke moment

She is looking, examining a rock I believe.

just being outside

just being adorable!!!

Thank you g-ma and g-pa brown! She loves to make baskets, not only with the ball but with her babies (dolls), books and other toys too.

Giving some love to peanut

After a month and a half we finally took down the decor and she had a blast with all the paper.

We do use it outside, but I had to clean it first!
