growing up and out!

Hello, bonjour, hola!!!!

This month has been an adventure and its only been half of it!

Nevaeh is growing up so fast! Over the last month that I have posted she has added 3 word sentences to her vocab. My favorite is "I love you." She is kissing my tummy because she somehow knows there is a baby in there. She's only 1 1/2, but she knows there is a baby in my tummy! She counts to three and knows the letter U. Why U?? I have nooo idea!

We went to the fair and she absolutely loved the animals and could spend hours looking at the baby ducks and horses. Unfortunately we went the first day when it was a heat index of over 100 degrees.

Also, I'm kinda growing out. Some people still don't know I'm pregnant and I'm going on my 18th week! I see it, though :). We, also found out we were having a boy! I'm so excited to be having one of each! Here is a couple ultra sound pics!

And our kitchen is pretty much done!!!!!! All we have to do is hook up the plumbing so hopefully in 24 hour from now I will have my kitchen back after a little over 2 months! We do still have to fix the wall and put up a back splash, but that's not of huge importance to me right now!

Here is an after pic too, I am kinda standing where the fridge is now.

She woke up with the craziest hair and I wanted to capture it, but it turned out to be a beautiful picture of her! She is growing up so fast and looks like a little girl now, not a toddler!

It was rainy, so here are a few of her and nathan playing on our miniscule thing of a porch.

Like I said, our family is growing in every direction. And it's all very exciting! I can't believe how big Nevaeh is and what she's doing! I can't believe that I am almost through my 2nd trimester and that summer is over!

Crazy how life to keeps going by and how God is constantly with us! And showing Himself to us. It's such a wild and hard ride, but definitely a fun one most of the time!

God Bless!

summer festivities!

Well hello!

A lot of little fun stuff has been going on the last month. Nothing huge, but little randomnesses that make life different and fun!

There are no new pictures of the kitchen because the company that we ordered the cabinets through said it will be 2 MORE WEEKS before we get our sink cabinet. That means no sink or counter tops for another at least 3 weeks to a month. I am growing very weary because of this and I'm trying to keep my patience with it! It's very hard!

Nevaeh is talking and says about any word that we say. It may not sound exactly right but its definitely the word. She is also putting words together like "bye, baby" so talking is just around the corner! I am excited because she jibbers ALL the time and I want to know what she is saying! She loves taking care of her dolls and dressing up and playing outside at the pool.

We are at the wading pool one night. I can't believe I just now discovered going to a wading pool because its so much fun! She absolutely loves going because she can walk around and do her own thing in the water.

It took her no time to run up to the fountains. She still won't run through it, but she gets close.

Daddy and nevaeh

Cool girl! These are her first pair of sunglasses and, yes, they are now broken. But she had a good use of them before it happened.

We had so many boxes because of the new cabinets, we cut a window and played house!

Again, cool girl! She saw daddy wearing his bandana ( i think, i don't remember) and she wanted to!

Playing outside in our fun backyard! We play outside in our back yard quite a bit! With our new fence and new fun toys (thank you to grandma val!) we enjoy the yard so very much!

Mommy and nevaeh. sorry its blurry!

Grandpa Brown reading to nevaeh on of her favorite books, Find Piglet.

Under a fort!

The zoo! We went to the zoo and she loved the animals. She kept saying animals, animals. Her favorite, I think, were the birds. She didn't like to sit to long and watch the same animal but she did like seeing all the different scenes.

feeding the goats, she is such a dare devil and wasn't scared at all!

the lions!

watching the monkeys! a monkey came right up in front of us and swung around and around right there. nevaeh loved it! she got so excited!

the end! we are going to the fair to show her all the animals and I can't wait! also we got a new a van but forgot to put pictures up so next time! Thank you for taking the time to look and read! God Bless

a SPECIAL blog

Bonjour!

It has been a while, almost a month since I have been able to post for you! And I've been itching to share with you all the wonderful things going on in our lives right now!

I was debating where in this post to spill the beans but I figured more people just look at the pictures than anything else... so right here feels fine!

Nevaeh is going to be a big sister!!!

We are so excited, I was/still am a little nervous because I very much enjoy just us three but I'm sooo excited to give Nevaeh a sibling because she is going to be a wonderful big sister! She "feeds" her babies (dolls), she comforts nathan when he gets hurt or in trouble and she is a very good daughter! When I pointed to my belly and said, there is a baby in mommy's belly, she quickly scooped up her doll and stuck it under my shirt. I laughed so hard!

We are having troubles with fits and attitude when she gets mad, but we're working diligently on it and praying that God would give us grace and react with love and not in emotional anger.

This is also a special post because we have moved into our new house! Its been a long two weeks and still are waiting for our cabinets so we are not fully unpacked yet but mostly. I have enjoyed very much making this house our home and am getting use to having 3 levels now instead of one simple one. There are pictures of before and afters.

I hope you enjoy! God Bless..

I had to share this. I introduce you to my grandma and grandpa who holds hands everywhere they go and it is soooo cute!!! I hope Jason and I are that cute

Nevaeh reading... the first night in our home.

Helping mommy... though its more work for me in the end, she loves it! I need to get her the small cleaning supplies!

At the pool with Kristen and grandma! She absolutely loves and enjoys the water!

with grandpa at Kassie's graduation

Watching daddy getting ready to mow!

This was the really hot day and we went and bought a new play pool!

Now we don't encourage stuffing the mouth but she just kept smiling with banana in her mouth and Jason caught it on camera.

We read every night before bed and she helps me. She knows which is the bears and bunnies and squirrels and she says goodnight to the animals.

We're learning to use our utensils and this was a particularly good night.

Nevaeh's room.... there is still more to add to the walls the flower mural i'm painting is not done yet.

Jason and I's room. Normally I wouldn't share our bedroom, but it was such a transformation.. the before pictures are below. I will be adding the bathroom and kitchen when they are done.
